2025 WA XCO State Series Round 5 - Margaret River
The Down south MTB Festival is a local family friendly club run event, hosted by MRORCA, (The Margaret River of Road Association), the Cape Mountain Bikers and the Dunsborough Cycle Club. Traditionally held over the June long weekend its hosts 2 rounds of the state cross country Mountain Bike race series. With more than 500 participants expected to compete over the weekend ranging from elite cross-country mountain bikers to kids having a great time in the U9’s race.
Taking in some of WA's newest and most technically challenging trails within the Margaret River and Dunsborough MTB parks. Both the Margaret river and Dunsborough courses are designed to challenge your bike handling skills and test your strength, stamina and mental grit
Action kicks off in Dunsborough on Saturday 31st May 2025 and in Margaret river on Sunday the 1st June 2025, Once again, this great MTB weekend promises to deliver a unique outdoor adventure experience for all off the family.
Race plates $5 - New or replacement - paid during entry
Regular race entry price $45 for senior Riders and $35 for U19
Under 9 through Under 15 riders receive free race entry to all PMBC run XCO events to stimulate and encourage our juniors to give XCO racing a go. You will need a Auscylcing race license to avoid day license fees. If you are new to MTB you can take out a free trial 4 week membership with Auscycling via there website!
We want to encourage you all to enter early this year folks, this makes our planning and logistics much easier.
So PLEASE enter early so we can make the race preparation job a lot easier. Thanks in advance
IMPORTANT: Please ensure you enter your Black/Yellow 2025 Race plate number into the question during entry. If you do not have one Please enter 0 then you will be issued with a plate to use for the rest of the season (Not Required for U9/13 Riders)
