Late Fee

The late fee is to encourage people to register earlier so the day will run smother and the volunteers have less work to do on the day. The late fee is $15.

So what does it cost to

So what does it cost to race?

Also, does the club need any help with understanding about how to run 4X heats? Or that issue been all worked out since the last round.

Happy to help if however is doing the rego's want's to learn how.

Also on that note, I don't see how doing an online rego cuts down volunteer's work unless EVERYBODY does it online, and heats can be organised prior to the race (like is done for BMX racing).

Online rego really doesn't cut down any work at a 4X race? Just slugs us $15 for not having a credit card.

Race Fees

It costs $25 to race.
Heats have been sorted, the program used for the 4X at 3Chillies has been passed on.
Online rego is essential on a day like this when there are both the State XC and 4X Championships on at the same time. The day would never end if we had to potentially register 100-150 XC riders and 40-80 4X riders on the day. If you don't have a credit card send me an email and we can sort something so you don't pay a late fee.

Guys i would love to meet

Guys i would love to meet those without credit cards when they buy the bikes and all the online parts. How do you do it. I own a shop and there are very few people who walk in with wads of cash.

Online rego does help the volunteers even if only half the field does it because it is less time doing data input and messing around on Sunday.

Mike when you go to explain how heats should be run I'll be interested to listen in because it isn't done like BMX as I understand it. Are you planning on doing it the UCI 4x way or the MTBA 4x way? So many choices so little time! The computer system that Jimmy mentioned will randomly select the motos within each category so that fairness is applied.

John, I guess it's some what

John, I guess it's best to use MTBA rules in WA as they have the option of heats or a timed quali run, where UCI is all based around doing a timed run first to seed the riders for the finals.

But once the quali ranking has been formed UCI and MTBA do it the same way.

Which is also pretty much the exact same as BMX. I can take a copy of the rules and the table showing how the riders should be broken apart for finals as well to the race if that would help?

On another note, the MTBA MTNX rules also say the track should be free of rocks and logs on the track?
