Race numbers and plates
Posted July 3rd, 2009 by bennysthe1
What, if any, are the rules on numbers and number plates. Can I run any number I want ? Do I have to keep a particular number for a particular time? What are the rules on plate sizing?
I want 79 or 7979. They are my old motorbike racing numbers and I'd like to keep using them.

Number plates for xc are in
Number plates for xc are in category groups so if you wanted 79 you would be racing in Elite. But generally at this stage in the season you get the next plate in order. The xc number plates are also colour coded so you know who is in your category.
You must use the number plates given out at the race and you can't alter the size of them in anyway. Especially when it comes to sponsors logos and that type of stuff.
