Jarrahdale Busy Bee Sunday 8th Nov

In preparation for the Alcoa Dusk till Dawn 12hour MTB Challenge we will be holding a busy bee this Sunday 8th November starting 8.30am, meeting in the Lakeside BBQ car park near the toilets.

Tools required: Rakes, Pruning Tools and shovels

With a good turnout of helpers we should be finished by lunch time.

I will also arrange some drinks, sausages and buns to throw on the BBQ after the work is done. Please confirm your attendance by sending an email to simondec@globaldial.com or posting a reply to this post, so I can make sure I bring enough food for the BBQ.

This will be your chance to preview the super 17km Bi-Lap course!

Regards

Simon Dec

Jarrahdale Re-Opening

"Latest New From Dec"

GOOD NEWS !!!!
The prescribed burn that has been in progress at Langford Park has been completed for the Spring, the trails will be inspected later today/tomorrow and the signage and tape removed therefore allowing the re-opening of the trails network for this weekend the 31st Oct and 1st Nov. Simon/Stef- You guys may now proceed with the marking of the course for the upcoming 12hr event and informing the community that the park is now open.

Hopefully this hasn?t inconvenienced too many people but it?s an operational requirement for the sustainability of the environment and the protection of the Langford Park infrastructure and the wider Jarrahdale community.

Thanks for your co-operation and patience on this issue.

PMBC hosts 2009 WAMBA DH State Championships: Nannup 31st Oct/1st Nov

Clubber's picture

PMBC will be hosting the 2009 WAMBA State Championships at the Lewana Pine Plantation, in Nannup on Sat 31st and Sun 1st. The Nannup track was designed specifically for the 2005 National Round held there and is by far the best DH that WA has to offer. Sam Hill was one of the lead designers of the track, and it offers way more vertical drop than anything else around. It also offers some of the biggest variety of obstacles, with a huge double jump (optional), to fast fire road at the top, one of the best rock garden sections around, then into single-track (very technical) down through the deep-dark woods, complete with terraces, step downs and fully walled berms!

Online Rego:
This is now available for the race, see link below for further details.
