SWMBC XC State Round #2 Barrie's Block, Kambarang 24th May 2009

Please find attached flyer for the 2nd state round of the year to be held at Barrie's Block (Cycletrek) Kambarang. All of the race information is listed on this flyer, the track is tough & challenging with plenty of obstacles, and is well worth the drive. .
Please note that online entry is closing on Thursday 21st May @ 5.00pm, if you do not enter online there will be additional $20.00 late entry fee., so please enter online to free up volunteers time allow them to race & enjoy the day as well!

when u say tha track it
when u say tha track it tough.....would u recommend it for a first time xc race???? i raced bmx and motox for over 10 years???

all tracks that we race are tough and are ridable for the first timer, its basically up to how tough you would like to make it, I do not think you would have a problem, its allways great to have first timers at races. The pics on the flyer are from last years race this is all i have.

as far as i know a race lap is usually ~5km. so whatever distance you think you can ride...

these are recommended race times, which are based on the fastest rider, maybe as a introductry to XC racing start off with sports B, if you find this easy go sports a in the next race at forsyth mills

Dowdells Line (road) Closed
If coming from Perth via Harvey use Waterloo Road, Dowdells Line is closed half way between South West Hyw & Ferguson, road works till mid June.
Was @ Barrie's Block today, track is in good cond. No noticable changes form last year at this stage, it's a good run.

Was gonna say - I recall sections of that track being boggy and muddy one wet year - down near the fenceline, and parts of the fast switchback decent can get messy too.
Anyway, 82 pre-registered riders have been entered. Not a bad turnout - should get a few more on the day I hope!
